Jon gets a double leg takedown into Grylls's guard.
Grylls looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jon is one step ahead there.

Grylls is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jon has gone for a leg lock! Grylls slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jon's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Grylls is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jon, into his guard.

Jon wants to control but Grylls postures up.
Grylls tries to move into full mount but can't pass Jon's legs.
Jon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grylls has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jon is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Grylls yanks on the arm and Jon is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Grylls.
