Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Everaldo Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harri Hyttynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Everaldo Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harri Hyttynen!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyttynen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Evans closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hyttynen circles away.
Hyttynen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Hyttynen sprawls well.
Evans knocks Hyttynen to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Hyttynen is rocked!
Hyttynen throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Hyttynen is still in real trouble! Can Evans finish him?
Hyttynen is looking to regain half guard here but Evans keeps moving and retains side control.
Evans tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hyttynen's legs.

Evans just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
You can see the frustration on Hyttynen's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Evans doesn't have the hooks in and Hyttynen manages to turn into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hyttynen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Evans - the referee stops the clock and Hyttynen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Evans. Hyttynen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hyttynen is trying to work for a sweep but Evans has mounted him!

Evans can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hyttynen is looking to escape.
Hyttynen is trying to stand up.
Hyttynen is looking to improve his position but Evans isn't that keen on the idea.
Hyttynen wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Hyttynen rolls, trying to escape but Evans keeps control of the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Evans is not going to allow Hyttynen to sit and survive in this position.
Hyttynen tries to escape the position.
Hyttynen rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hyttynen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Evans wants to control from the top but Hyttynen keeps moving.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Everaldo Evans dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A chopping leg kick lands by Evans.
Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Hyttynen, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Hyttynen against the cage but Hyttynen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hyttynen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hyttynen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evans swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evans seems keen to control Hyttynen's posture.
Evans is trying to keep Hyttynen in close.
Hyttynen throws and elbow that misses. Evans uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hyttynen's guard. Nice move by Evans!

Hyttynen lands a couple of sideways elbows.

Hyttynen uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A low kick from Hyttynen is predictable there
and Evans counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hyttynen's knee momentarily.
Evans throws a head kick that Hyttynen semi-blocks.
Hyttynen tries to clinch but Evans moves out of range.
Evans moves in looking to clinch but Hyttynen pushes him off.

Hyttynen shoots in and bounces Evans off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hyttynen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Evans can't keep his opponent in guard - Hyttynen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Evans moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Hyttynen stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Evans has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Hyttynen manages to get his head free but now Evans has transitioned to an armbar! Hyttynen grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Evans! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
