Platt gets a takedown into half guard.
Chop blocking the ground and pound attempt from Platt.
Chop tries to roll over but Platt keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chop doesn't manage to clinch there - Platt circles away.

Platt is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chop's half guard.
Platt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Platt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chop with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Platt winds up and cracks Chop with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Pork Chop has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Platt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chop's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Platt closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chop quickly recovers to half guard.

Chop really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
