Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Project Cd (ranked 4821 p4p, 5167 weight class) and Tournament Dude Bro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

A nice side step and Bro releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Bro clinches up against the cage.
Cd has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bro after a bit of a struggle.
Bro wants a takedown.
Bro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cd.
Cd throws a punch but it's blocked by Bro.

Bro jumps guard.
Bro is pulling down on Cd's head. It's preventing any offense from Cd, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cd trying to control the position from guard on top but Bro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bro wants to improve his position but instead Cd has moved into half guard.

Bro is not content to let Cd control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cd prevents Bro from improving his position.
Bro keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Cd winds up and cracks Bro with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cd trying to control from half guard but Bro is working away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cd controlling the action here.
Cd is thwarting Bro's attempts to control the position.
Bro is looking for a sweep. Cd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bro is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Cd is trying to control. Bro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bro flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cd lands with a shot to the body.
Bro slips under a jab.
Bro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Project Cd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bro moves in looking to clinch but Cd pushes him off.
Cd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bro.
Cd sets himself, and Bro steps forward looking for the clinch! Cd avoids it this time.
Cd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bros jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Cd is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Cd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cd misses the shot to the body.

Bro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cd regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cd tries to get out of the position.
Cd utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bro stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Cd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bro.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bro scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cd is letting Bro control him for a moment.
Cd is trying to control Bro's posture but Bro avoids it.
Bro tries to score with some ground and pound. Cd controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bro wants to control but Cd is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bro tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tournament Dude Bro will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cd works Bro's body with a nice hook.
Nice shot lands for Cd.
Cd lands a right hook to the body.

Bro closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cd did well to prevent Bro getting side control.

Bro stands up from Cd's guard - Bro perhaps looking for a knockout.
Cd is looking to wear down Bro with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Cd gets caught flat footed, as Bro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bro gets to his feet. Cd looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cd slaps away a takedown attempt from Bro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice uppercut there from Cd.
Bro throws a series of punches but Cd moves out of range.
Bro takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bro misses with a double jab
and Cd counters with a stiff right hand.
Bro is breathing heavily.
Cd lands with a cross.

Bro looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cd is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cd thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bro flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cd is trying to control the action in half guard but Bro is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cd performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Bro is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cd scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bro regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Cd.
Cd is working Bro over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bro not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bro wants to sweep but no luck.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cd sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Bro is pulling down on Cd's head. It's preventing any offense from Cd, at least for the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cd uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bro has time to react.
Cd misses with a body shot.
Cd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cd to the ground. Bro is now in Cd's guard.

Bro has gone for a leg lock! Cd slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bro's guard.


Cd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cd has managed to get both his arms back between Bro's legs - danger averted.
Cd wants to control from the top but Bro keeps moving.

Cd scoring with some ground and pound.

Bro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cd with a nice head shot there.
Cd trying to control but Bro is working from the bottom.
Cd is fighting to break Bro's control of his arms but Bro is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bro has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cd has passed into side control.
Bro is not content to let Cd control the position.

Bro is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cd trying to control the action but Bro is working from the bottom.
Bro tries to bench press Cd off him but Cd keeps the position.
Bro can't do much from the bottom here.

Cd has control of an arm but Bro manages to advance to Cd's back!
I really don't envy Cd right now.

Bro is looking for a choke. Cd gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Cd manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Bro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cd stays in close to Bro's body and controls the position.
Bro working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cd.
Cd missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cd postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Cd with a nice head shot there.
Bro wants to hit a sweep here but Cd passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bro there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bro is looking to get to half guard.

Project Cd showed his dominance in that final round.
