Hit tries to land a leg kick but De Janeiro saw it coming and moves away.

Hit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Janeiro , pushing him back against the cage.
Hit wants a takedown but no success here.
De Janeiro prevents a takedown attempt there.

Hit has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but De Janeiro regains guard immediately.

De Janeiro has his feet on Hit's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

De Janeiro shoots in and bounces Hit off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hit wants to control the position but De Janeiro says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
De Janeiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, De Janeiro cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

De Janeiro cracks Hit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Oh Hit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

De Janeiro manages to break the clinch.
Hit seems to have got his legs back now.

Hit closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

De Janeiro throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Hit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Janeiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Janeiro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hit seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De Janeiro for as long as he can get away with.
Hit really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hit shoots in looking for a takedown. De Janeiro tries to sprawl out of it but Hit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De Janeiro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
De Janeiro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hit as he avoids it easily.

Rio De Janeiro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hit's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

De Janeiro will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Hit wants to get up but he can't break De Janeiro 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

De Janeiro closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hit's guard.
Hit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hit moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, De Janeiro has worked his arm free - good work by De Janeiro !

Hit tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
De Janeiro is not content to let Hit control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hit thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
De Janeiro managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hit.
Hit wants to stand but De Janeiro is controlling his arm.
