Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takashi Shimura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren McCarty!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.

Shimura tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCarty was well out of range. Poor timing from Shimura.
McCarty tries to bum rush Shimura with a series of wild strikes but Shimura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McCarty bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Shimura definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shimura takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Shimura lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Darren McCarty has been cut.
McCarty throws a nice looking combination but Shimura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCarty lands a jab-cross combination.
McCarty misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shimura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McCarty sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shimura connects with a single shot there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shimura tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McCarty is able to avoid easily.
Shimura lands a jab.
McCarty shoots in for a takedown but Shimura shows good takedown defense.
McCarty lands with a hook. Shimura tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shimura.
McCarty pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McCarty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCarty lands with a good body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Shimura misses its intended target.
Shimura wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McCarty connects with a single shot there.
McCarty with a lazy takedown attempt
and Shimura counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Shimura looks at the referee who does nothing so Shimura lands a crushing right that sends McCarty to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takashi Shimura!
A very excited looking Takashi Shimura rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
