Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manoel Moicano (ranked 2333 p4p, 5029 weight class) and Viosin Denia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Denia checks the leg kick nicely there.

Denia has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Moicano.
Manoel Moicano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Denia gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Denia has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Moicano after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manoel Moicano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viosin Denia.

Denia drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Moicano gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Denia pulls guard.

Denia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moicano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Moicano stands up over Denia, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Moicano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Denia works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Denia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moicano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moicano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Moicano stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Denia has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Moicano manages to get his head free but now Denia has transitioned to an armbar! Moicano grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Denia! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Viosin Denia decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
