Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ford Prefect (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Krestner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Prefect might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mos Def - "Mathematics". Krestner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Remember the Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Ford Prefect has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krestner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Prefect throws out the jab.
Prefect throws a jab but it's blocked by Krestner.

Krestner gets a takedown into half guard.
Prefect blocking the ground and pound attempt from Krestner.
Prefect moves into full guard.
Prefect lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Krestner!
Krestner is in all sorts of trouble here.

Krestner is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krestner tries to lock up and control but Prefect gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krestner can do anything to dispel that myth.
