Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Magomedov was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Magomedov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Magomedov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Magomedov appears to be looking for a big counter.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Magomedov sprawls well. Magomedov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Magomedov lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Jones quite badly. Jones pulls Magomedov in close trying to recover. Magomedov postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Jones on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Jones doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
