Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rico Segura (ranked 5391 p4p, 4157 weight class) and Jian Fu (ranked 547 p4p, 478 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Segura throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Segura throws a low kick but Fu moves out of range easily.

Segura is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
You can see the frustration on Fu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Segura tries to avoid it but Fu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Segura to the ground. Segura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fu shoots in for a double leg but Segura sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
