And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafael Benedetti!

Bach changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Benedetti looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Benedetti is holding Bach down, trying to stall.

Benedetti has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Benedetti is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bach off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Benedetti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bach is working away from the top position though.

Sebastian Bach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benedetti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Benedetti counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bach's knee momentarily.

Benedetti leaves Bach with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benedetti's waist but Benedetti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bach off to one side.

and Benedetti counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Benedetti looks at the referee who does nothing so Benedetti lands a crushing right that sends Bach to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

After winning the bout, Rafael Benedetti thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
