Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Ocean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Sergeev!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

Ocean tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sergeev counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ocean looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ocean tries to clinch up.
Sergeev swats away the attempt to clinch by Ocean.
Ocean misses with a wild combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sergeev! But no joy.
Sergeev has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ocean is landing a low percentage of strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sergeev tries to work over Ocean's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ocean is pressed up against the cage. Sergeev has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ocean down to the mat. Ocean avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sergeev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ocean moves away.
Ocean wants to clinch up but Sergeev keeps it at a distance.
Ocean drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ocean stays in close to Sergeev's body and controls the position.
Ocean's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sergeev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sergeev is looking for a kimura but Ocean is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sergeev to get the leverage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sergeev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ocean defends it well.
Sergeev is keen to just control but Ocean is a slippery customer.
Sergeev is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ocean is just riding it out for now. Sergeev eventually gives up the hold.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Ocean will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ocean smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sergeev moves forwards but Ocean connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sergeev ducks under a wild hook from Ocean.
Ocean misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice side step and Sergeev releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Ocean swings for the body but Sergeev moves out of range.
