Delisle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cartwright's guard.
Cartwright tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Delisle passes Cartwright's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Delisle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cartwright's guard.
Delisle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cartwright doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Delisle.

Delisle wants to work for an arm triangle but Cartwright is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Delisle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cartwright defends it well.

Delisle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cartwright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Delisle maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Cartwright could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Delisle has cracked it and Cartwright is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Delisle!
