The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speigel tries to close the distance and clinch but Porthaven swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Porthaven catches Speigel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Speigel takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Speigel shoots in looking for a takedown. Porthaven tries to sprawl out of it but Speigel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Porthaven manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Porthaven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Speigel moves away.

Speigel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
