And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shina Aoyki!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aoyki scores a takedown into full mount!
Wenger is looking to get to half guard.
Wenger is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Aoyki has taken his back.
Wenger turns into Aoyki and is now in his guard.

Wenger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aoyki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wenger swings for the body but Aoyki moves out of range.

Aoyki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Wenger is looking for a sweep. Aoyki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wenger is working hard here to advance position.
Wenger is staying active underneath Aoyki, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wenger fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aoyki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wenger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aoyki somewhat.
Aoyki shoots in and drives through. Wenger sprawls well.

Aoyki throws a sloppy head kick and Wenger moves out of range easily.
Wenger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aoyki was well out of range. Poor timing from Wenger.

Wenger lands with a nice combination. Aoyki backs away looking to recover.
Wenger throws a jab when Aoyki was well out of range.
Aoyki feints and then cracks Wenger's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wenger down.
Wenger misses with a few strikes there.
Wenger thows a body shot but no joy.
Wenger misses with a looping left.

Wenger avoids the body shot from Aoyki.
Aoyki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wenger lands a right hook to the body.
Wenger blocks a jab.
Wenger throws a looping overhand right but Aoyki ducks down to avoid it.

Aoyki moves into range and clinches up with Wenger.
Aoyki scores a nice knee to the body.
Aoyki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wenger prevents it.
Wenger can't get the takedown.

Wenger has hold of one of Aoyki's legs. Aoyki is fighting the takedown attempt but Wenger gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Aoyki tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Aoyki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Aoyki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wenger is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
