The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason swats away the attempt to clinch by Rapcheep.
Mason fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Pratipar Rapcheep has been cut.
Mason avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pratipar Rapcheep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Mason throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rapcheep wants to clinch.
Rapcheep moves in looking to clinch but Mason pushes him off.
Mason drops Rapcheep with a left and a right! Oh, Rapcheep is hurt - Mason dives into side control looking to finish!
Mason wants to control but Rapcheep is keeping him busy.
Mason fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Mason in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Mason is looking to take a break and control but Rapcheep is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mason steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rapcheep.
Mason misses with a two punch combination.
Rapcheep fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mason fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rapcheep is out of range.
Mason avoids the head kick by Rapcheep.
Rapcheep throws a head kick that misses.
Good shot there by Mason.

Rapcheep tries a head kick but it misses.
Mason digs a good body shot into Rapcheep's ribs.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rapcheep.
Rapcheep fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mason lands with an uppercut that bounces Rapcheep off the cage and back into rage.

That has opened up Pratipar Rapcheep's cut even more.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mason.
Rapcheep tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rapcheep takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mason stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mason throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rapcheep stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Good exchange - Mason coming out on top.

Mason scores a takedown into full mount!
Rapcheep is bucking up trying to escape but Mason cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The cut above Pratipar Rapcheep's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mason has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rapcheep's face.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pratipar Rapcheep's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pratipar Rapcheep's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Craig Mason!
