Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denny Sideman!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Read fails to land with a series of punches.
Read steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sideman.
Read scores with a body shot.
Sideman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sideman moves out of range of the strikes.
Read moves into range and connects with a jab.
Read looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Read throws a series of strikes that have Sideman backpedaling.

Read gets the takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sideman tries to buck Read off but Read is having none of it.
Read has control of an arm but Sideman manages to advance to Read's back!

Sideman is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Read with him. Read is trying to defend but Sideman has an arm under the chin now! Read grimaces and is forced to tap out!

After the fight, Denny Sideman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
