Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ham Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huerta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Arch Enemy- The Great Darkness. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta missing with a left hand there. Xu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Xu throws a right and a left that Huerta avoids nicely.
Xu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Huerta manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Huerta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Xu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Xu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Huerta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Xu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Huerta has his foot on Xu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Xu works his way back into a safe position though.
Xu postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Xu is nestled in close to Huerta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Xu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Xu lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Huerta quite badly. Huerta pulls Xu in close trying to recover. Xu postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Huerta on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Huerta doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ham Xu!
