Estili comes to the cage accompanied by Ready For War (Instrumental). Jihadi John has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gholam Estili's chin.

John lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

John now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
John has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Estili is landing a low percentage of strikes.

John cracks Estili with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Estili goes for a double leg but John avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as John continues to drive forward.

John shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Estili shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Estili was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Estili has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

John stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and John wants it to stay on the feet.
John connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Estili momentarily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from John enables Estili to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. John manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
