These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Pope closes the distance and pushes Van Dieman back into the cage.
I was talking to Van Dieman's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Van Dieman has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pope should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Van Dieman has tightened it up now! Pope should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
