Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osanti Herod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danger Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herod's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Down With The King. Osanti Herod has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Herod.
Takeshi throws a wild body kick that Herod sees coming a mile off.
Herod lands a body shot.
Herod throws a nice head kick!
Takeshi's corner calls for a 1-2. Takeshi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Danger Takeshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Takeshi misses its intended target.
Takeshi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Herod blocks a jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Herod shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee warns Takeshi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Takeshi throws a lazy right hand but Herod sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Takeshi throws a series of punches but Herod avoids them all with ease.

Herod moves out of range as Takeshi strikes.

and Herod counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takeshi thinking.

Herod closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Takeshi to the mat! Takeshi manages to get full guard.

Herod drops back looking for a leg! Takeshi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Takeshi manages to kick Herod off! Herod jumps back into Takeshi's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Herod changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takeshi tries to avoid it but Herod manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takeshi to the ground. Takeshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's time! Herod's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Herod here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Herod has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Takeshi's face.
Takeshi is desperately trying to improve his position but Herod has a good base and remains in mount.

Herod has hold of Takeshi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Takeshi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Herod has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
