Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Victor (ranked 1612 p4p, 575 weight class) and Finn Murphy (ranked 205 p4p, 73 weight class). Finn Murphy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Caio Victor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Finn Murphy!

A nice side step and Murphy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Victor feints and as Murphy raises his hands in defense, Victor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Victor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Murphy is just riding it out for now. Victor eventually gives up the hold.

Victor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Murphy is now in Victor's guard. A big mistake from Victor there, giving up the dominant position!

We've been hearing good reports from Victor's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close second round but I would say that Caio Victor will probably get the nod.

and Victor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Murphy won't be happy with that.

I would just about give that final round to Finn Murphy.
