and Kagonbo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Kagonbo lands a leg kick that knocks Pearson off balance momentarily.
The fighters circling - Pearson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A quick step to the side and Kagonbo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kagonbo thuds his right hand into Pearson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That has opened up James Pearson's cut even more.
Kagonbo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Pearson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kagonbos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bismack Kagonbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kagonbo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice side step and Pearson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Pearson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kagonbo manages to avoid it.

The cut above James Pearson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
