Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ameri Can (ranked 428 p4p, 1194 weight class) and Nuri Jafar (ranked 53 p4p, 143 weight class). Can's entrance music is For Heavy Metal we will die!. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nuri Jafar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jafar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Can looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jafar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Jafar is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Jafar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Can to his feet.
Jafar gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A nice side step and Jafar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
