Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Yang (ranked 5319 p4p, 3358 weight class) and Khamzat Nurmaputinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Adam Yang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adam Yang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Khamzat Nurmaputinov!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

Nurmaputinov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Yang.
Nurmaputinov is pressed up against the cage. Yang has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nurmaputinov down to the mat. Nurmaputinov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Yang has Nurmaputinov up against the cage in a clinch.
Yang prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nurmaputinov goes for a takedown attempt but Yang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Nurmaputinov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nurmaputinov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yang wants to stand and escape but Nurmaputinov is having none of it.

Yang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nurmaputinov pulls his head out easily.

Nurmaputinov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Nurmaputinov is working for a submission of some sort.
Yang wants to get back to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Yang wants to sweep but no luck.

Yang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nurmaputinov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Yang can't keep his opponent in guard - Nurmaputinov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Nurmaputinov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've been informed that Nurmaputinov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yang is defended easily by Nurmaputinov.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Yang was interviewed post fight and said 'You Cant win em all. My opponent did What he had to do. Im just super Motivated to get back in again and get a W'.
