Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maek Houzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stari Starac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starac has chosen The Last Waltz as his entrance music. Maek Houzo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stari Starac's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starac closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Starac throwing shots but Houzo is blocking nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Starac throws a series of punches but Houzo moves out of range.

Starac had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Houzo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Starac Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Houzo's back instead.

Starac is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Starac holds on and takes a little breather.

Stari Starac is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Starac has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Houzo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Starac.

Maek Houzo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Houzo! Starac is hurt baaadly! Houzo is firing away with more strikes - Starac is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
