Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Vendarra (ranked 2286 p4p, 1886 weight class) and Juho Heikkinen (ranked 304 p4p, 259 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vendarra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Of Wolf And Man. Juho Heikkinen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Heikkinen fails to land with a series of punches.
Vendarra misses with a looping right.

and Heikkinen counters with a series of strikes. Vendarra will be more careful next time no doubt.

Heikkinen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vendarra circles away quickly and effectively.

Vendarra throws out a loose jab but Heikkinen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vendarra's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Heikkinen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vendarra scrambles back to his feet.

Vendarra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heikkinen.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heikkinen slips a nice elbow through Vendarra's hands, connecting with Vendarra's forehead.
Heikkinen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vendarra keeps working.
Heikkinen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Heikkinen winds up and cracks Vendarra with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vendarra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Heikkinen goes for a double leg but Vendarra avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vendarra continues to drive forward.

and Vendarra counters with a nice right hand that sends Heikkinen toppling to the canvas! Heikkinen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Vendarra finish him?!

and Vendarra counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Heikkinen out cold! What a finish! Vendarra is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
