Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.

and Sergeev counters with a nice low kick that buckles Panda's knee momentarily.
Sergeev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Panda has time to react.
It looks like King Panda has been cut.

Sergeev is looking for a sweep. Panda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Panda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sergeev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've been hearing good reports from Panda's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Panda is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Sergeev is hurt! He's hurt bad - Panda fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Sergeev from any more punishment! Congratulations to Panda! Great finish!

King Panda was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
