Averescu lands with an uppercut that bounces Barlow off the cage and back into range.

Averescu stalks Barlow and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Barlow's face. Barlow staggers backwards, shaken.

Barlow shoots in looking for a takedown. Averescu tries to sprawl out of it but Barlow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Averescu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Barlow is pushing down on Averescu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Averescu is fighting to maintain full guard but Barlow has managed to sneak the leg through.

Averescu has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Barlow is on him like a limpet, forcing Averescu back against the cage.
Barlow has Averescu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Averescu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Barlow seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Averescu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barlow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Averescu is fending him off so far but Barlow persists. Nope, Averescu circles away and we're back to standing.
