Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lesnar (ranked 884 p4p, 451 weight class) and Pedro Fuentes (ranked 26 p4p, 16 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Fuentes!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

Fuentes tries to sprawl but Lesnar drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Lesnar pulls Fuentes in close to prevent any damage.
Lesnar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Fuentes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lesnar feinted with a counter takedown.
Fuentes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lesnar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fuentes throws a lazy right hand but Lesnar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fuentes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Fuentes.

Lesnar closes the distance and pushes Fuentes back into the cage.
Fuentes lands with a short shot to the head.
Lesnar throws a punch but it's blocked by Fuentes.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Fuentes.
Fuentes lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Fuentes gets underhooks to prevent Lesnar's takedown attempt.

Lesnar swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lesnar struggles to land a body shot inside as Fuentes controls his hands.

Fuentes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt - Fuentes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fuentes leaves Lesnar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fuentes flicks out a counter leg kick but Lesnar steps away.
Lesnar throws a hook but Fuentes blocks it.
Fuentes lands a head kick. Lesnar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Fuentes, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Fuentes against the cage but Fuentes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar needs to keep his hands up - Fuentes had a free shot at his head there.
Fuentes throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lesnar changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fuentes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lesnar takes a step back to recover.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fuentes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Fuentes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fuentes pushes Lesnar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lesnar throws a body shot but no joy.
Fuentes has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fuentes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lesnar.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Fuentes throws a solid leg kick but Lesnar takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fuentes.
Fuentes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fuentes throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Fuentes drops Lesnar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lesnar looks back up at him and smiles so Fuentes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lesnar appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Lesnar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fuentes can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fuentes lands a big uppercut and Lesnar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lesnar looks OK. Fuentes waves Lesnar back to his feet!

Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fuentes, pushing him back against the cage.

Fuentes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lesnar tries to work over Fuentes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Lesnar is keen to just control but Fuentes is a slippery customer.

Lesnar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fuentes knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fuentes for a finish.
Lesnar cracks Fuentes with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Fuentes from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Lesnar is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Fuentes. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

I really don't envy Fuentes right now.
Fuentes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Pedro Fuentes is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Pedro Fuentes.
