Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joana Guerra (ranked 6029 p4p, 6217 weight class) and Shane Vaughan (ranked 616 p4p, 631 weight class). Shane Vaughan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Vaughan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vaughan looks to land a combination. Guerra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Guerra tries to clinch up.
Donk. Vaughan catches Guerra right on the button with a cross.

Guerra doesn't manage to clinch there - Vaughan circles away.
Vaughan tries a low kick but Guerra avoids it.
Guerra shoots in for a double leg but Vaughan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vaughan lands a jab to the nose.
Vaughan blocks a head kick by Guerra.
Vaughan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Guerra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Vaughan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Vaughan lands a right hook to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Guerra checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Vaughan connects with a right hand. Guerra shakes it off.
Vaughan works the jab nicely.
Vaughan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vaughan sizes up Guerra with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A clash of legs there as Guerra blocks the low kick.
Vaughan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vaughan wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joana Guerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Guerra gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vaughan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Guerra can't find room to land a body shot as Vaughan controls the action.
Vaughan tries to break the clinch but Guerra is controlling the position.

Vaughan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Guerra gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vaughan .
Good standup being displayed there by Vaughan as he connects with a hook.
Shane Vaughan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vaughan scores with a nice right hand.
Vaughan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Guerra has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vaughan finds it's way round the side to connect with Guerra's head.

Guerra is rocked!
Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vaughan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Guerra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Shane Vaughan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
