Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nati Kuperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Coll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nati Kuperman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xander Coll!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuperman throws a low kick, looking for Coll's leg but Coll calmly moves out of range.

Coll clinches.
Coll has Kuperman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kuperman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kuperman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Coll clinches up against the cage.

Coll has clasped his hands together around Kuperman's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Coll wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuperman keeps working.

Coll thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Coll wants to stand but Kuperman is controlling his arm.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
You can see the frustration on Kuperman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Coll is looking to take a break and control but Kuperman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kuperman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Coll's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Coll wants to work for an arm triangle but Kuperman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kuperman trying to hold on to Coll's head to control him but Coll postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kuperman misses with a head kick.
Kuperman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kuperman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Xander Coll has been cut.
Coll moves in looking to clinch but Kuperman pushes him off.

Coll gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kuperman breaks the clinch.
Xander Coll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuperman throws a push kick but Coll slaps the foot to one side.
A punch combination from Coll misses.

Kuperman closes the distance and clinches.
Kuperman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Coll just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kuperman jumps guard.
Coll trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kuperman manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Coll controls Kuperman momentarily but Kuperman frees himself.
Kuperman stops Coll from standing up.
Coll looks gassed!

Kuperman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kuperman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coll swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kuperman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Kuperman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kuperman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coll is keeping the position for now.
Coll is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Coll is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kuperman prevents Coll from getting back to his feet.

Kuperman is stalling in the full guard.
Kuperman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kuperman slips nicely into half guard.
Kuperman is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Kuperman controlling the position easily from mount.
Kuperman wants to control the pace but Coll is squirming around nicely.
Coll tries to lock up and control but Kuperman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Coll is bucking up trying to escape but Kuperman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Coll wants to hold on but Kuperman pushes him away.
Kuperman is landing with some decent strikes but Coll is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Kuperman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kuperman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kuperman trying to control but Coll is having none of it.

Coll is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kuperman locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Coll is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nati Kuperman!
