Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Gotti (ranked 4149 p4p, 2475 weight class) and Pit Canthropus Jr (ranked 469 p4p, 294 weight class). Canthropus Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Austin Powers - Daddy Wasn't There kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Don Gotti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Don Gotti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pit Canthropus Jr!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

Gotti shoots in looking for a takedown but Canthropus Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gotti's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Canthropus Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gotti.
Gotti needs to keep his hands up - Canthropus Jr had a free shot at his head there.

Gotti drives through and clinches with Canthropus Jr against the cage.
Canthropus Jr's coach down at Iron Sharpens Iron was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Canthropus Jr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gotti tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Canthropus Jr just stands there and leans against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Canthropus Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Canthropus Jr gets tackled into the cage by Gotti. Gotti maintains the clinch.
Gotti is looking to control Canthropus Jr's arms but Canthropus Jr gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gotti has his back to the cage.

Canthropus Jr throws a shot from downtown. Gotti moves away and avoids it.
Canthropus Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gotti.

A close round but Pit Canthropus Jr will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gotti went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Gotti ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gotti no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Canthropus Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Gotti is just out of range.
Gotti avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gotti is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Canthropus Jr.
Gotti shoots in for a takedown but Canthropus Jr shows good takedown defense.
Canthropus Jr throws a head kick but Gotti moves out of range.
Don Gotti is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gotti on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Canthropus Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gotti stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Canthropus Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pit Canthropus Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Canthropus Jr weaves into range and cracks Gotti right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Gotti goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Canthropus Jr is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pit Canthropus Jr!
