Lawrence comes into the arena with No Surrender blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Rebenta!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

Rebenta scores with a takedown into Lawrence's guard.
Lawrence looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rebenta is one step ahead there.
Rebenta wants to control from the top but Lawrence keeps moving.
Rebenta won't allow Lawrence to sweep him here.
Lawrence is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lawrence can't keep his opponent in guard - Rebenta advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lawrence is looking for a sweep. Rebenta is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawrence is trying to control the position but Rebenta postures up.

Rebenta got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lawrence has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rebenta has managed to get both his arms back between Lawrence's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rebenta stays in close to Lawrence's body and controls the position.
Rebenta postures up and lands a big shot to Lawrence's brow.

Lawrence is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lawrence is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rebenta is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lawrence pushes a forearm under Rebenta's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rebenta is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
