Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Leahy (ranked 1965 p4p, 3670 weight class) and Habib Putins (ranked 260 p4p, 438 weight class). Robert Leahy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Leahy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Habib Putins!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.

Leahy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Leahy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Putins stacks Leahy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Putins!

Well Leahy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
