Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petrov (ranked 1781 p4p, 1748 weight class) and Joey Horatius (ranked 100 p4p, 98 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Petrov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Petrov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Petrov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Horatius!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

Horatius fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Petrov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Petrov misses with a takedown attempt - Horatius sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horatius throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrov.
Horatius scores with a hook.
Petrov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Horatius pinned against the cage. Horatius gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horatius lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Horatius.
It looks like Peter Petrov has been cut.
Petrov fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Horatius swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Petrov takes one on the button.

and Horatius counters with a left and a right... And another left! Petrov is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
