Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Staal (ranked 2592 p4p, 5889 weight class) and Paul Revere (ranked 335 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Staal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Revere to the mat! Revere manages to get full guard.
Revere not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Revere might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Staal haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Revere is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Staal off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
What can Revere do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Revere is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Revere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Staal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Staal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Revere for as long as he can get away with.
