Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jihadi Jihadist (ranked 4586 p4p, 4623 weight class) and Penguin Flightles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Jihadist misses with a takedown attempt
and Flightles counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Flightles shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jihadist napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jihadist manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Flightles is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Flightles is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jihadist is holding on to half guard well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flightles is taking a breather. Jihadist says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jihadist wants to control but Flightles is keeping busy.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jihadist is on top in guard.

Jihadist is looking for a kimura but Flightles is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jihadist to get the leverage.

Flightles makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Flightles.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jihadist thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jihadist lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jihadi Jihadist will probably get the nod.

Jihadist is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flightles is just riding it out for now. Jihadist eventually gives up the hold.

Flightles is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Jihadist has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Flightles is tapping! This fight is all over!
