Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikkel Ferro (ranked 4586 p4p, 3539 weight class) and Pal Simmeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pal Simmeon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Nice shot lands for Simmeon.
Ferro slips under a jab.
A punch lands to the side of Ferro 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ferro takes a jab right on the kisser.
Simmeon clinches with his opponent.
Simmeon manages to break the clinch.
A jab lands there for Ferro.
Ferro misses with a takedown attempt - Simmeon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ferro.
A little jabbing left from Simmeon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Simmeon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ferro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Simmeon avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikkel Ferro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferro shoots for a double leg takedown but Simmeon sprawls well. He's pushed Ferro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Simmeon throws an overhand right that lands on Ferro's shoulder, as Ferro tries to avoid the shot.
Ferro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ferro tries to counter with a takedown but Simmeon is quick to defend against it.
Ferro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Simmeon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Simmeon leaves Ferro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Simmeon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Simmeon moves into the clinch successfully.
Ferro wants to take the fight to the mat but Simmeon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simmeon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ferro is breathing heavily.
Ferro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ferro takes a shot to the head.
A head punch on the inside from Simmeon fails to land.
Simmeon lands an uppercut.
Simmeon misses with some punches.
Ferro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Simmeon tries to throw a body punch but Ferro avoids it by throwing Simmeon back against the cage.
Simmeon lands a shot to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ferro.
Simmeon gets through Ferro's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ferro is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Simmeon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Simmeon lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferro off the cage and back into range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Simmeon drops Ferro with a naaaaasty hook - Ferro is in real trouble here! Simmeon dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
