Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kana Tsugihara!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsugihara is looking to clinch.
Tsugihara tries to clinch but ONeil is having none of it.
Tsugihara doesn't manage to clinch there - ONeil circles away.

Tsugihara tries to close the distance and clinch up but ONeil swats him away and circles back towards the center.
ONeil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tsugihara moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

ONeil tries to score with a low kick but Tsugihara moves his leg out of the way.
Tsugihara is looking to clinch but ONeil is avoiding it.
Tsugihara shoots for a double leg takedown but ONeil sprawls well. He's pushed Tsugihara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
ONeil ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
ONeil scores with a nice strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
ONeil throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tsugihara lands an elbow that stopped ONeil in his tracks for a moment.
ONeil changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tsugihara fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tsugihara takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tsugihara looks gassed!

Tsugihara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
ONeil cracks Tsugihara with a good jab.
ONeil misses with a low kick.
ONeil drops Tsugihara with a left and a right! Oh, Tsugihara is hurt - ONeil dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Kana Tsugihara has been cut.
ONeil is putting a hurting on Tsugihara here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tsugihara is still in real trouble! Can ONeil finish him?
Tsugihara takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

ONeil remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

ONeil sends Tsugihara crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! ONeil is motioning to the referee to let Tsugihara up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

ONeil lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tsugihara circles away quickly and effectively.

ONeil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tsugihara.
It's a brutal combination of punches from ONeil! Tsugihara is backing up but he can't get away as ONeil lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Tsugihara and ends the fight. Great knockout.
