Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stan Shamrock (ranked 619 p4p, 1589 weight class) and Riley Oconner (ranked 87 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Oconner throws a shot from downtown. Shamrock moves away and avoids it.
Shamrock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oconner.
Shamrock blocks a jab.
Stan Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shamrock darts in and clinches Oconner up against the cage.
Shamrock is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Oconner to keep the fight standing.
Shamrock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oconner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Shamrock tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oconner smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stan Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oconner keeps the fight on the outside.
Shamrock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oconner manages to avoid it.
Oconner pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shamrock takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A looping hook to the body misses from Oconner. Shamrock does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Oconner tries to get set, Shamrock tries to push him back and clinch up but Oconner manages to avoid the attempt.
Shamrock walks into a stiff left hand from Oconner.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shamrock jumps guard but Oconner turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Oconner pushes Shamrock back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Oconner tries a body shot but Shamrock blocks it.
Oconner lands a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shamrock pulls guard successfully.
Oconner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Shamrock is looking for a triangle but Oconner pushes his legs off easily.

Oconner has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shamrock to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Oconner is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shamrock pulls down on the head and he's put Oconner to sleep! This one is all over!
