Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myoto Lachida (ranked 5889 p4p, 4262 weight class) and Stri Yanhavoci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myoto Lachida has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Myoto Lachida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stri Yanhavoci!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

Yanhavoci shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lachida tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Yanhavoci manages to move to mount!
Yanhavoci takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lachida is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at High Kicks, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Yanhavoci goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lachida is on top in guard.

Lachida seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yanhavoci can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Yanhavoci's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Yanhavoci tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lachida wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lachida tries to stand but Yanhavoci is controlling his head.
Yanhavoci is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lachida asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Yanhavoci clinches with his opponent.
Yanhavoci jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lachida walks away with a smile on his face. Yanhavoci gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Stri Yanhavoci will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lachida's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Yanhavoci throws a sloppy head kick and Lachida moves out of range easily.
Lachida throws a counter high kick but Yanhavoci was just alert enough to avoid it.
Yanhavoci shoots in looking for a takedown. Lachida tries to sprawl out of it but Yanhavoci keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lachida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lachida seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Yanhavoci's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Yanhavoci decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lachida, up you get!
Lachida leaves Yanhavoci with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Yanhavoci throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lachida tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yanhavoci is in Lachida's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Yanhavoci pushes down on Lachida's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yanhavoci slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Stri Yanhavoci showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It looks like Stri Yanhavoci has been cut.

Lachida looks for the body kick but Yanhavoci saw that one coming.

Yanhavoci drops back looking for a leg! Lachida is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lachida manages to kick Yanhavoci off! Yanhavoci jumps back into Lachida's guard.

Yanhavoci is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lachida is just riding it out for now. Yanhavoci eventually gives up the hold.

Myoto Lachida has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Yanhavoci is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lachida defends it well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lachida holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Yanhavoci tries to clinch but Lachida moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yanhavoci crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lachida - the referee stops the clock and Yanhavoci gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lachida. Yanhavoci manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Yanhavoci tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lachida swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Yanhavoci closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Stri Yanhavoci is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Yanhavoci blocks a punch to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Myoto Lachida.
I think Yanhavoci has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
