And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and John Roberts.

Day connects with a crisp jab.

Panda shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Day is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Panda pulls his head out easily.

Panda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Day defends it well.

Day has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Panda escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Panda!

Day on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Day tries to get out of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Panda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Day is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Panda is working to tighten his grip on Day's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Day has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Panda is really squeezing tight and eventually Day passes out! Panda breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
