And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Cathail Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

Murphy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Murrdock has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Murrdock.

Murphy is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Murrdock is staying active.
Murrdock is just content to waste time from the top position. Murphy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

I really don't envy Murphy right now.
Murrdock is not going to allow Murphy to sit and survive in this position.
