Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domaydo Cann (ranked 3173 p4p, 4188 weight class) and Geoff Jeffries (ranked 408 p4p, 518 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jeffries is pulling down on Cann's head. It's preventing any offense from Cann, at least for the moment.

Cann drops back looking for a leg! Jeffries is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jeffries manages to kick Cann off! Cann jumps back into Jeffries's guard.

Cann isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jeffries stacks Cann on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jeffries!

Cann is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jeffries defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Cann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jeffries tries to avoid it but Cann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jeffries to the ground. Jeffries escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cann shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jeffries's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jeffries looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cann is one step ahead there.

Jeffries should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jeffries felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Cann is working to tighten his grip on Jeffries's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jeffries has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cann is really squeezing tight and eventually Jeffries passes out! Cann breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
