Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Walker (ranked 5157 p4p, 5169 weight class) and Kamil Cwirko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Cwirko!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

Walker misses with a series of wild punches.
Cwirko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker.
A little feinted left hand from Walker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Walker throws out a leg kick but Cwirko moves out of range and Walker only half commits.
Walker tries to bum rush Cwirko with a series of wild strikes but Cwirko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cwirko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Walker.
Cwirko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cwirko stalks Walker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Walker's face. Walker staggers backwards, shaken.

Cwirko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walker closes the distance and clinches up with Cwirko, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes Cwirko against the cage but Cwirko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Walker throws a front kick aimed at Cwirko's knee but Cwirko avoids it well.
Cwirko throws a nice looking combination but Walker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cwirko.
Walker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cwirko throws a leg kick but Walker checks it.
Walker misses with a few strikes there.
Cwirko swinging wildly here.
Walker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Walker throws a series of punches but Cwirko avoids them all with ease.
Cwirko lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Walker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cwirko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Walker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cwirko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Walker is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cwirko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Walker went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cwirko misses with a wild combination.

Walker tries to close the distance and clinch but Cwirko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cwirko looks to land a body kick but Walker moved away.
Walker tries to bum rush Cwirko with a series of wild strikes but Cwirko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cwirko throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Walker's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Cwirko dives in looking to finish as Walker flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Cwirko's strikes! Cwirko is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Walker's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Walker was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamil Cwirko!
