Ban comes into the arena with Big blaring out of the sound system. Valentina Fortunato has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ban throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Fortunato counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ban!
Fortunato takes a little break here. Ban wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ban really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fortunato stands up.
Ban throws a head kick but Fortunato moves out of range.
Ban tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Fortunato responds with a good body kick, but Ban manages to step out the way in time.

Fortunato shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Fortunato throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ban tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fortunato is in Ban's guard.
Fortunato slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Fortunato controls the position.
Ban on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Fortunato is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ban looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fortunato gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ban is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fortunato lets go of the hold and Ban can pop his arm back in it's socket.
