Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Souza (ranked 5507 p4p, 4441 weight class) and Acelino Dos Anjos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Acelino Dos Anjos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Souza takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dos Anjos throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Souza's head.
Souza takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Souza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Dos Anjos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Souza shoots in but Dos Anjos avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Dos Anjos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dos Anjos dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dos Anjos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dos Anjos stuns Souza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Dos Anjos gets the takedown into side control.
Dos Anjos tries to get to his feet but Souza is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Dos Anjos in his guard.

Dos Anjos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dos Anjos tries to stand but Souza is controlling from the bottom.
Dos Anjos wants to control from the top but Souza keeps moving.
Dos Anjos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Souza's head.
Dos Anjos throws a big right hand that misses.
Dos Anjos connects with a couple of short punches.
Dos Anjos works over Souza with some ground and pound from guard.
Dos Anjos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Souza is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dos Anjos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Souza's body to avoid the submission. Souza has instead reached around Dos Anjos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Souza arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
