Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Sohal!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.

Sohal moves away from the strike by Burr.
Sohal drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Burr defends it well.
Burr misses the jab.

and Sohal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burr's guard.

Burr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sohal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Burr controls Sohal momentarily but Sohal frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sohal is working Burr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sohal looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sohal connects with a couple of short punches.

Burr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Burr seems keen to control Sohal's posture.
Sohal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sohal is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Burr wants to sweep but no luck.
Sohal's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Sohal counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sohal.

Burr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sohal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Burr is tightening it up a little... Sohal has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sohal reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sohal taps out! Nice BJJ there by Burr!
