PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Casper Blackwater (ranked 6221 p4p, 4081 weight class) and Kamil Cwirko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Cwirko lands a jab-cross combination.
Blackwater throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cwirko's waist but Cwirko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blackwater off to one side.

and Blackwater decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cwirko's guard.

Cwirko pushes Blackwater off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cwirko misses with a two punch combination.
Cwirko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Blackwater closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cwirko quickly recovers to half guard.

Blackwater really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Blackwater is breathing heavily.

Blackwater tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Cwirko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blackwater wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Blackwater tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blackwater has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cwirko is looking for a sweep.

Cwirko wants to control but Blackwater postures up.
Cwirko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blackwater. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cwirko is looking to reverse the position.

Cwirko throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Cwirko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blackwater looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cwirko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Cwirko. No joy for Blackwater on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casper Blackwater. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blackwater checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Blackwater closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cwirko circles away.
Cwirko unleashes a big counter combination but Blackwater bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Cwirko misses with a few strikes there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cwirko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Blackwater eats them both and turns towards Cwirko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cwirko stalks Blackwater and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blackwater's face. Blackwater staggers backwards, shaken.

Blackwater is rocked!
Cwirko feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Blackwater crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
